About the Program
The WILP program focuses on developing future-ready professionals equipped with managerial, analytical, and leadership skills required in the growing sectors of rural development and agribusiness management. Students gain exposure to rural enterprises, agribusiness operations, NGOs, FPOs, and industry practices through an experiential learning approach.
Integrated Learning Pathway
The program follows a carefully designed 36-month integrated structure that combines academics, internship training, and industry experience.
Phase 1 – MBA Academic Learning (18 Months)
The first phase focuses on academic learning and professional skill development. Students pursue an MBA program affiliated with Bangalore University while also receiving exposure to rural and agribusiness management concepts.
Phase 2 – Paid Internship & Field Exposure (6 Months)
The second phase provides students with practical industry exposure through paid internship opportunities and field-based rural engagement.
Phase 3 – Full-Time Industry Experience (12 Months)
The final phase focuses on professional industry integration and experiential career development. Students receive structured workplace exposure and practical training aligned with industry requirements.
