All the banners including the Jyothy Charitable Trust was subject to the distinguished leadership of Late Dr. B.N.V. Subrahmanya who hails from Bettadapura Village (Periyapatna Taluk, Karnataka) Has received many awards for his service towards the society like the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award for excellence in Education and Social Field (1991), Rajiv Gandhi National Unity Award (1995), Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Award (2011), Doctor of Literature from Tumkur University (2012) to name a few. He was also elected as the President for Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha for five consecutive terms. His achievements tailored with his chastened lifestyle has moved many across boundaries that the Government has named a circle in Basavanagudi as Dr.B.N.V.Subrahmanya Circle post his demise.This is just a small testimony to the vast philanthropic works undertaken by him. He will forever be the driving force for the entire Jyothy family.

1971 – Jyothy Industries
We as a humble organization began with small roots starting from Jyothy Industries which is a fabrication industry in stainless steel for chemical, pharmaceutical industries and distilleries & breweries in the year 1971.
1982 – Jyothy Charitable Trust
The Trust was established with a mission to provide a vibrant, intellectually and emotionally rich teaching learning environment with the State of the Art Infrastructure and recognize and nurture the potential of each individual to evolve into ones’ own self and contribute to the welfare of all.
1985 – Mallikarjuna Samkrita Veda Patashala
