PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Dear Parents and Students,

Jyothy Institute of Commerce and Management has set its mission to be completely unique educational Institution. JICM was established in the year 2020 with a humble and noble cause of imparting quality and value – based education to the youth of our Nation. Started under the aegis of Dr. BNV Jyothy Memorial Educational Trust, true to our founder Late Dr. B.N.V Subramanya sir’s vision and philanthropic causes this Institution is looking at all opportunities to serve the society. As heard from the close circles, our founder Chairman always wanted his students interests to be safeguarded first and would tell to give our best at all times. He dreamt of imparting global quality education to the students and we are here to make it a reality. With blessings from the almighty, we were able to make a humble beginning in the year 2020 with 44 admissions. It is said that if intentions are right, none can behold success. In the very next year 2021, our admission was full at cent percent with close to 115 admissions for both B.Com and BBA courses.
JICM is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to preparing students to stand firm among competition. We are offering value added courses like CA/CS, Digital marketing…etc. We opine that every student must equip themselves with the latest information in their respective domain. To facilitate this, we have eminent personalities coming to our campus and speaking to students on variety subjects of choice. Academics – Industry interface is the special feature where experts from the industry come and address our students on a regular basis. This, infact, bridges the gap and will enable the students to know what the corporate really aspire for from the students. It is all about being job ready. We emphasize on all round development of students and encourage them to also participate in sports, cultural and literary activities apart from excelling in academics.
This year we have begun job-oriented learning programmes, which will help the students to identify a particular skillset, nurture it and become proficient in that skill. This is in synchronization with NEP 2020 where the students learn the desired skills and progress so as to shine in their careers.
A country can prosper if its young population strives on value system and lives up to the morale. Bharat is a land of rich heritage and culture. We can identify where it is heading towards at once by seeing the youth of the Nation. At JICM we believe in universal brotherhood, the very fact that truth is in every path religion, philosophy and culture. Value-based education will always remain our priority. This will usher upon the development of humanistic, ethical, constitutional and universal human values of Satya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema and Ahimsa. We have made it mandatory to participate in community service programmes, to enable the students to learn life skills, which aim at holistic education.
Our founders have always aspired and firmly believe that education is for life and not for living. When money is lost, nothing is lost and when health is lost, something is lost but when character is lost, everything is lost. We aim at building men and women of character who are the torch bearers of this great nation Bharat.
I whole heartedly thank our Chairperson, Smt. B.V. Seetha, whom we fondly call as Seetha Maami, for creating such a robust environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure and nurturing us with love and affection. I thank all the Trustees, Sri. Rajesh K, Executive Director, Prof. B.S. Lakshman Prasad, Academic Director and Sri Anush G.N, Marketing Director for extending support and giving us much needed flexibility to perform.
I strongly believe and wish we the management, staff and students can together achieve this goal of creating a great Institution and greater Bharat.
